Today, I am inspired by a morning run/walk along Provo River with my roommate, Nicole, and an afternoon spent with a friend making beautiful music on the piano. My theme: how especially grateful I am for the people in my life. Actually, this semester I have come to realize more and more just how meaningful relationships are. Never before have I been surrounded by such wonderful people- or maybe I just never noticed before how much each individual has to offer in goodness. In either case, I am so much more today than I ever have been before because of the lessons I have learned from the love of people around me.

I am thankful for a family that prays for me, for a brother faithfully doing the thing he knows is his duty, for parents that love each other and counsel me, for a brother-in-law and sister who remind me constantly of how much Heavenly Father loves and blesses His children, for a niece shortly to be born who will definitely add her own witness on that note.
I am grateful for roommates who are "cut from the same pattern" as me... yes, that does become dangerous at times :>
They make me so happy!
I'm grateful for a humble bishop and for members of my ward here who are striving to live and improve and be selfless while finding joy in the journey. I am thankful for teachers who love to inspire their students. I am grateful for all of the little kids I have seen lately who are just SO HAPPY! I am grateful for so many people who smile at me even when I look like a disaster. I am thankful for the people who teach my brother in his mission and for those humble people who will be willing to choose faith and listen to the message he brings.

Famous quote from my blog that you will probably get tired of reading... "Life is good" :)
